"Let us be kinder to one another." Aldous Huxley’s last words
We are all fellow travelers on this earth. Sometimes our path is delightful, sometimes it’s stormy.
But always we are surrounded by abundant beauty, intriguing sights, animate and inanimate, the ordinary and the extraordinary - sights that can snatch my breath and feed my soul.
And always we have available to us, the wise thoughts and words of fellow travelers, to soothe, uplift, to give us perspective, to guide and to inspire.
"You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.” Franz Kafka
